     Rocky and Dusty Hill first musical venture was at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas. Frank Beard came across Dusty and Rocky while playing for The Cellar Dwellers at the Fort Worth Cellar.

      The three of them formed The Warlocks, dying their hair blue and pulling out two singles. Later on the threesome formed the American Blues recorded two albums, then moved on, met Billy Gibbons and ZZ Top was born.
